The unify States the States is a highly prestigious organization that has a rich history and thrives in a matrix departmentalization. The U.S. Army has perfected the skills of using the five solicitude functions. By perfecting these wariness functions they have a highly organized, tactical, goal oriented, and successful sort of soldiers and officers.

Knowing what the U.S. Army stands for is important. Going through their legation line of reasoning and perceiveing their full finding sets down the foundation for the management functions. Explaining how this organization started and how it has adapted to low enlistment rates, cutting budgets, and adapting to crude ideas, is another important step to understanding how they have batter challenges, and continue to set goals for the future. Each soldier, leader, and officer has a purpose in the organization. From the moment of recruiting till after someone is turn out of the Army the 5 management functions are being utilize which are Staffing, control, planning, leading, and organizing (Reilly, M., Minnick, C., and Baack, D., 2011).



Each management function has a precise unique function that helps contribute to the Armys success.

Its primary draw is to achieve this defense through deterrence-posing the realistic threat of deadly action should it become necessary.
