Integrity is how somebody lives their life. In this life we live, we face choices any day that only we can answer. We dictate how we run our feature lives, and the way we run them defines us. Its doing the right thing versus the incorrectly thing. People, if nothing else, can always have their pride, their integrity. It is something that means a lot to some people and then nothing to others. The ones who jimmy their integrity highly are the good people in this world, and the opposite is true for those who do not value their integrity.
As Marines we are expected to do the right thing at all times as well as plenty the example for others to immulate. I have failed to do this and my actions are unforgivable. chthonian the guidance of my leadership I have learned from my misunderstanding and I have found a lost persona of myself through this experience.
In my actions I was not honest and this has had a major impact on how I am viewed as a man.
Integrity is defined as a opinion of constancy of actions, values, methods, measures, principles, expectations, and outcomes per Merriam Webster Dictionary. I have to agree but these are more than just words, these words are the soul bed ones integrity. Each Marine has some take of integrity; it is the trait in all of us that forces us to take responsibility for our actions.
