Memory has been defined to a psychologist as learning that has persisted all over time, information that has been stored and can be retrieved. some other definition assumption for retentiveness is the persistence of learning over time finished the storage and retrieval of information. There are many phenomenons of memory that can be applied to our course and how we study for this class as well. Serial position effect is a memory phenomenon, a type of tale, that illustrates the benefits of rehearsal. In a class activity prof Warren aim a list of 15 course pretty quickly. Immediately after Professor Warren read the list of words she asked the class to recall the words in any guild. We learned from our readings and our class activity that the first and farthermost words were remembered give away then the others. The spacing effect is described as distributing your rehearsal over time. Our textbook explains that when we retain information quickly forget just as quickly.
