This book is about a young human being named Ezio Auditore of Florence, Ezio loses his father and two brothers because of the unjust masks of the ruling families of Italy. In an act of what starts as r even soge and ultimately ends with pure jurist, Ezio learns the art of the Assassin to restore his familys honour. During his time learning how to become small-fruited in his mission and recover codex pages which are requirement in the Assassin Order as they shield secrets to often everything imaginable, Ezio meets such great minds as Niccolò Machiavelli and Leonardo da Vinci. passim the story, Ezio faces a lot of turmoil, not only being ever involved in battles with tyrants abusing the people of Italy, he must also face emotional and spiritual battles for him to reach his true objective.
I chose to read this book because I am a buff of the computer games which this book is based on and I model it would be a good opportunity for me to go more than in-depth.
A quote which I found interesting in the school text is Fear not the darkness - but accept its embrace. This quote is spoken by Ezio and is interesting to me because it shows how things are not just black and white, good and evil etc.



As passim the story Ezio is shown to be very highly encountered amongst his fellow assassins, even though he is the youngest of them all. Beside this even the general public hold the assassin as he is referred to, in high regard even though he is plainly a laud murderer. One example of welcoming darkness is in the justice system, as punishment, which isnt seen as a nice or happy ordeal, is the answer for wrongdoings, and as such is used against criminals.
